A repeatable photo-export workflow needs an agreed frame, a crop decision and a filename rule. Decide those before processing the batch so the images are easier to match to products afterwards.
Choose the destination size
Check the requirements of the destination storefront. CatalogFrame offers square JPEG exports at 1024, 1200 or 2048 pixels. A larger export does not restore detail missing from a small original. Keep your source photos and inspect an exported image at its actual pixel size.
Decide whether edges may be cropped
Fit whole image keeps the entire source inside the square frame and can leave space around it. Fill frame covers the frame and can crop edges. Use the first approach when the whole product must stay visible. Check labels, handles, accessories and packaging before accepting a crop.
Understand the background control
The selected color fills the surrounding frame and transparent pixels. An opaque background already inside a photo remains part of that photo. Framing is not background removal. If the original background needs editing, do that separately before the batch export.
Set a naming rule before upload
A short product-family prefix and an ordered suffix can make a batch easier to manage. The CSV manifest maps each input filename to its output filename. Keep the manifest beside the exported images, especially when another person will upload them.
Review then scale the batch
Start with images that differ in aspect ratio, transparency and source size. Inspect those outputs before processing more. Use smaller batches on a device with limited memory. CatalogFrame supports up to 40 images, with a 12 MB and 30-megapixel limit per input; the final quality still depends on the originals and your crop choices.
