Commission and attribution
The configured commission is 30% on purchases referred through your approved direct affiliate links. These are one-time products; the commission is not recurring. Gumroad splits its purchase fees between creator and affiliate in proportion to the commission. The commission is therefore not a promise of 30% of the price as a final cash payout.
Creator-approved direct affiliate links use Gumroad's 30-day attribution cookie. Attribution depends on Gumroad's tracking rules, including later affiliate clicks and browser cookie availability. Use the unique links supplied after approval.
Application and payment
Apply with your Gumroad account and describe your audience and promotion channels. Applications are reviewed before affiliate links become active. There is no application fee. Gumroad handles tracking and affiliate payouts; its account verification, country-specific payout minimum, schedule and holding requirements apply. Refunds reverse the associated affiliate commission.
Present the actual product
Describe the capabilities and limits shown on each product page and disclose your affiliate relationship to your audience. There is no promised number of sales or earnings. The products are complete offline downloads, not subscriptions or customized services.
